Pharaoh's "Sacred" Bone Plays Pranks

OWNER WORRIED

(By

(Eeceived 6, 2.15 p.m.) •LONDON, April 5. The Daily Mail's Edinburgh correspondent says: "The screams of his wife brought Sir Alexander Seton, the owner of Pharoah's "sacred" bone, to the lounge of his home, where on a carpet was an overturned vase and a clustor of white flowers with a inark like a bloodstain. "Frankly, I was frightened," said Sir Alexander, "because there had been similar happenings only an hour previously, while last night a guest was sitting in this room when the glass she was holding jumped from lier hand, almost hit the eeiling and fell to the floor. "Shortly afterwards, while the room was empty, a clay ornament fell from a table and was smashed. Strangely, the bone is not here. I lent it to a friend, but its sinister influence seems to persist." Sir Alexander received a letter from Cairo saying that unless he returns the bone steps will be taken forcibly to remove it.
