CORONETS ON PYJAMAS FOR MRS. SIMPSON'S TROUSSEAU
Midinettes in the Rue de la Paix are busy embroidering coronets on two dozen pairs of night pyjamas ordered by Mrs Simpson from a fashionable house for her trouseau, states a Paris coriespoudent. Ihe pyjamas ar© made of washing satin of rather a mannish cut, with pipings of contrasting colours and very wid© trooisers jn the latest fashion. Some have jackets of colourB contrasting with the trousers. Most are in delicate shades of blue, but there are
also a few pink and white pairs. ^ Mrs Simpson has decided not fo* leave Cannes till after the wedding, even to shop. About 50.. dresses have been sent to her at the Villa Lou Viei from Mainboschev, the famoug couturier. From them she wiJl choose her troxiseau. There are full-skirted evening di'esses in tulle and" crepe with embroidery of iiowers ; one with white roses, another with lilies of the valley. Over them she will wear an emerald faille cloak. Mrs Simpson's favcurite shade of blue is predominant. Floral designs Pattern both evening and afternoon silk dresses. The sports frocks are in linen, worn with woollen coats of exquisite design. The tailored suits are markedlv simple in design.
