Church and was conducted by the Rev. Mr Davies. The btide, who was given away by her brother, Mr Keith Kirkcaldie, wora a gown of very heavy satin in a deep magnolia shade. It was beautifully cut, the bodice having a v-neck, and the skirt flaring out to form the long train. The sleeves were fnil to the elbows and then fitted tightly to the wrists and ended in a peak over the hands. She wore a beautiful tulle veil, Which was arranged from a halo of small leaves and fell away to form a second train. Her bouquet was of yellow flowers, and her shoes were of gold. Four maids in apple green velvet attended the bride. They were the Misses Betty MatthewB (chief), of Masterton ; Olaudia Chadwick, sister of the bridegroom ; Muriel Morrison (Masterton) and Mary Marsden of Wellington. being of lovely shade and style. They were made with fitting bodices with vnecks finished with amber clips, the skirt fitting to the knees and falling to form slighb "trains. The sleeves were fnil but gathered to a band froin the shoulder to the elbow and then tightfitting to the wrist. They wore haloes of gqld leaves in their hair and had gold shoes, while the bouquets they carried wei*e of autumn flowers. The bridegroom's friemds who attended him were Messrs D. I; Finch as best man, and A. Button, W. Ifioyd and J. B. Hartgill as groomsmen. Messrs M. and K. Kirkcaldie, brothers of the bride, and R. Chadwick, eousin of the bridegroom, were usherg at the church. Ai'ter the ceremony the reception wob held at "Waikanapa". The marquee where the hreakfast was set out was decorated with greenery, and the hridal table looked very attractive with the beautifully iced wedding cake in the centre. Mrs Kirkcaldie, who received the guests, wore a gown of wine-coloured

lace with smart velvet toque in the same shade, and carried a posy of flowers to tone. Mrs Chadwick, who assisted her, wore a frock of Marina green lace with a coatee of gold larne and a lame toque. Her posy was of pale pink flowers. When the bride and groom left for their honeymoon tour they were given a reusing send-off. Mrs S. Chadwick was wearing a smart frock of dark gfeen satin crepe cut with slightly cowled neck-line, full sleeves and fitting skirt. She wore a hat of matching green velour, green suede shoes and a musquash fur coat. Their future home will be at Whetukura.
