AUCKLAND, Last Night. The Australian amateur wrestling team made its first appearance in NeW Zealand to-night when it .defeated an Auckland team by four matches to three. There was a large crowd present but they di.d not altogether appreciate the matches as they have been accustomed to seeing professionals. Details are as follow; — Flyweight. — J. Walsh % (Auckland) 8st. 6lb., defeated A. Parsons (Australia) 8st. 6lb. by two straight falle. _ Bantamweight.— E. Purcell (Australia) 8st. 111b., defeated T. Harvey (Auckland) 8st. lllb. by two straight falls Feathcrweight. — R. PurChase (Auatralia) 9st. 81b., defeated C. Jbnes (Auckland) 9st. 81b. on points. Lightweight. — V. Rawle (Auckland) lOst. 51b., defeated R. HUrley (Australia) lOst. 51b. on points. Welterweight. — W. J. Sinclair (Au«tralia) 11st. 41b., defeated V. Aspin (Auckland) 11st. 41b. on points. Middlew eight. — R. Vickers (Australia) 12st. 01b., defeated S. Aspin (Auckland) 12st. 61b. on points.
