Teaching It To Disarm Gunmen \ NEW YORK, April 5. ' A patrolman, Patriek Conroy, was killed when demonstrating how he , taught a pet dog to disarm a gunman. 1 Conroy pointed the revolver and the t dog leaped at his wrist, upsetting his master. The weapon discharged and the bullet entered Conroy 's hcart. A step-son, aged ten, re-ens-ted the scene with a toy pistol to convinc'e the poliee that death was accidental. Conroy ;s last words were: "The dog was not to blame."
