ILL-FATED VOYAGE

Two Years to Sail from Hobart to Peru (Received 5, 8.45 a.m.) LIMA, April 4. The vessel Hoho has arrived at Callao Bay. She departed" from Hobart on March 3, 1936, but was badly damaged on Norfolk Island, drifting ashore when her anchor chain broke. She then visited Tahiti and Pitcairn Island. She missed Easter Island due to an error of reckoning or drift, and reached Saly Gomez instead. Thence after Ihirty days she arrived at Callao. The Hoho will sail for New York on her last lap after repairs have been effected here.
