CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. A body in an advanced stage of de composition was discovered by a ocn> stable who forced the door of a fourroomed cottage in Jefferys road thi» afternoon. The body is believed to be that oi a single woman, aged about 60, Mis, A. V. Sargent, but identification is no positive. The police investigations were mad' at the request of neighbours. Death occurred from two to foui weeks ago.
