SYDNEY, April' 4. The A. J. G. Autumn C&rnival was brought to a successful conclusion at Randwick on Saturday. with cool fina weather and an attendance of tweutyfive thousand. Though favoured bjr ideal weather for racing during the four days of the meeting, the attendances were considerably below. previous years. The riders of Pamelus and King's Head in the Cropper Plate wore so occupied in watching each other that they allowed Cereza to steal a break of four lengths from the home t.urn, which advantage gained her the race. The stewards called Elliott for an explanation and after hearing it decided to accept same but considered him guilty of a serious error of judgment. Gay Blonde received strong Buppoyt ia the Dangar Handicap but after looking dangerous at the turn she failed to ruu on and finished fourth. Allunga caused a mild surprise by outstaying his rivals, Lough Neagh and Oro in the A.J.C. Platei Waiting for the last run the winner finished with a rare burst and had a four lengths' advantage at the post. Jockey McCarten was the most successful rider during the meeting.
