Young Girls Lost in Bush.
Three young girls who set out early on Sunday morning from Reefton for a day in the bush were forced to spend the night in the open in one of the wildest storms that has struck the district for some time. They lost their ^ ay fn the late atteraoon and by niglitfall were completely lost. Wben they did not return at dusk their parent^(organised search parties," which . were out all night witliout finding any trace of the girls. Early on Monday morning parties were sent out; but the girls were found soon after daylight by a party of deer-stalkers near the Inglewood mine, in the Murray creek valley. Heavy rain had fallen during the night; but beyond being wet, tirod, and hungry, the girls were little the worse for their •xperionce. 1
