Miss J. Ormond ha® left Waipukurau for a short holiday at Taupo Miss W Malkin left Waipukurau by the mail train for Wellington yesterday. Mr and Mrs C. Beuck have returned to Ongaonga after spending Easter in the Wairarapa. Dr. and Mrs C. Raymond have re turned to Waipukurau after bemg absent on holiday. Mr M. O. Gray, Tolaga Bay, is acl ing as secondary assistant at the Wai pukurau District High School, till a permanent successor to Mr L. R. Cutforth is appointed. Mr and Mrs H. W. Strang, Waipawa, are on a visit to Taranaki. 'Dr. F. W. B. Souiii, Waipawa, wiio rccently underwent an operation in the Waipukurau hospital, is making satisfactory progress.
