Big Prices at Sydney SYDNEY, April 1 At the yearling s.ales to-day .three colts by the imported Foxearth brought 2075 guineas. The Victorian trainor, P. Quinlan, paid llOOgns for one out of Bambina. The top price of 1800gns. was realised for the Elderslie Stud for a brother to Homer, by Iliad out of Quadrilateral, the bUyer being John fSpencer Brunton. A colt by Melfort was secured by J. Ccobie for 1360 gns. Two otber Melforts fetched respectively 1550 and lOOgns., the buyers being C. Quinlan and W. Levin. J. Holt secured a Heroic — Goldmast colt for lOOgns. Five Heroics made 372ogns. • and averaged 745gns. Elderslie Htud Iliad colts fetohed respectively 1800 and 700gns., while a Nightraid — Lytup colt brought 400gns. New Zealand buyers purchased the fo'llowing: A Brazen — Vioweela colt, Dr King, 160gns. ; r Fernkloof — Cbol Courage colt, T. George, 70gns. ; a Salmagundi — Love Lake colt, T. George, 100 gns.; a Bouyant Bachelor — Lerrija colt, Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd. 200gns. A group of four Veilmond filles ranged from 80 to lOOgns. i
