AUCKLAND, This Day. The decision that the clipper will tak© off before Sawn on Saturday on the return flight to America was made this morning by Captain Musick. Mr Harold Gatty will travel in the plane rnnd return to New Zealand by steamer later. Possible sites for a base on Waitemata liarbour were inspected to-day by Pan-American oflBcials and the harbourmaster, Captain Sergeant. No decision \vill be announced until after 'the plane's return to America. Again to-day there was a constant stream of people to inspect the plane, which was riding) gracefully at its inoorings. The plane is guarded day and night by members of the crew. Mechanics to-day are checking every part of the great engines in readiness for the flight to Wellington to-morrow.
