PARADE PUTTING-GREEN
Napier Proposal The latest proposal of the Napier Borough Council for improvement of the Marine Parade is a putting-green on the foreshore somewhere between the Sound-Shell and the tennis court. The Mayor, Mr C. O. Morse, has invited a local goTier, Mr Piner, to submit a jketch plan of an 18-hole course which, Mr Morse thinka, could be laid down for £25. The scheme will later be outlined to borough councillors, who will have the final say in the matter,
