BOWLING
Both King (Hastings) and Bi&sell (Kia Toa) were eliminated in the postsection play at the Manawatu Bowling Gentre 's tourney. In the Burton Cup competition at Gisborne Kruse (Hastings), Parkinson (Hastings) and Beer (Napier) qualified for post-seetion play. All survived the first round, hut in the second Beer and: Parkinson went out, Kruse beating Parkinson by one point. In the semifinal Kruse met "Williams and went down 15 — 23. The final will be played between Williams and Henderson on Saturday next.
