HAUMOANA MINIATURES
The annual general meeting of the Haumoana Miniature Rifle Club was held in the club room, , Mr Byford presiding over a large and enthusiastie number of members. The baiance-sheet showed the club's finanees to be in a very healthy eondition. It is the club's intention to out a wooden fioor in the club-room. The club wisheg to thank the Press for the valuable support given during the season in publishing scores and handicaps. The thanks of the club are also due to vice-presidents and supporters for the trophies and fiinds donated. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year : — Patron, Mr R St. Lawrence; president, Major Secker ; deputy-president, Mr C. J. Baker; vice-presidents, Messrs G. C. Glenny, T. A. Smith, V. Kirkby, R. McCarthy, R. Holt, B. Kessell, C. Groves, H. McKeesick; auditor, ~Mr B. Douglas; secretary, Mr C. J. H. Baker; club captain, Mr W- Byford ; vice-captain, Mr A. Oliver; armourOer, Mr H- Smith; committee, Messrs W. Olsen, K. Grant;, O. Goodrick. It was decided to begiq the season on' the' first Wednesday in April.
