Honeymoon Car Goes Over 30-Foot Bank BRIDE UNHURT

f WESTPORT, Last Night. To crash over a thirty-foot bank in the Buller gorge near Berlins, 20 miles from Westport,' this afternoon, was the fate of a young eouple married a few hours previously. Vernon Raynor, aged 24, the driver of the sedan car, was severely cut about the head and face and lost a lot of blood before he was removed ' to the Buller hospital. His wife was very fortunate, emerging almost scratchless. Reginald Raynor, father of the driver, received minor injuries to the body and face and is suffering from slight shock, while Leslie Mcnzies, another occupant, escaped with slight back injuries. The latter fell out of the vehicle half way down the steep bank. The road gave way when Raynor's car was passing another vehicle on a corner and rolled over and over, eventually landing in a shallow part of the Buller river almost a total wreelc.
