SETTER CLUB FIELD DAY
N.L Championship At Raupare The Lominion Setter Club he!d its annual field trial on Sunday at Raupare. The attraction to gun-dog owners this year was the North Island championship. The day was ideal for working conditions for the dogs. A large crowd attended. The results of the trials werei— Novice Class (seven entries). — Nightingale ' Bros.' Mahi Major (English Setter) 1, Mrs F. Kyle's Parkdale Sport (Pointer) 2, Mr J. Nightingale 's Berkleigh Grace (English Setter) and Mr Green 's Lorna's Boy (Irish Setter) equal ).' Setter and Pointer Stakes (seven entries). — Mr W. Green's Lorna's Boy 1, Mrs F. Kyle 's Parkdale Sport 2, Mr and Mrs G. A. Dunlop's Arran Grouse (English Setter) 3. North Island Championship (four entries). — Mr and Mrs G. A. Dunlop's Arran Grouse ], Mr W. Green's Lorna's Boy (Irish Setter) 2, Mr and Mrs Dunlop's Arran Sheila (Pointer) 3. Mr T. Faleoner presented the tTophies at the conclusion of ihe trials and thanked everyone for their assistance and attendance.
