Throttle Accidentally Opened After Landing

f NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. i The Wellington Aero Club's Moth j 'plane became out ' of control after landing at the pilots' camp at New Plymouth to-day and shot into the line of motor-ears. Although two passengers were seated in one car ' when 'the machine struck it, they escapedi injury and, although the aeroplane and four cars were damaged, fche pilot, Mr C. H. Morris, of Wellington, and passenger were unharmed. The throttle was accidentally opened and the machine suddenly gained speed and moved towards the line of cars. The impact followed before full control could be gained first. The car struck belo'nged to the New Plymouth Aero Club captain, Mr H. W. Lightbaud.
