LV eteran Labour Leader's Warning WASHINGTON, Mareh 29. Mr. William Green, president of the Ameriean Labour Pederation, the rival organisation of the C.I.O., has issued a statement deelaring that sit-down strikes are iiiegal and mu3t be disavowed by thinking men and women of Labour. Public opinion was against sit-down strikes. Labour must be supported by public opinion. Sit-down strikes despite their temporary advantages finally injured permanently the jLahour movement.
