(Received 30, 8.45 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 29. A Bugar bag containing the arms and legS of a woman was found in the river Yarra, near the city, by iw6 boys playing on tho bank. The boys called a constable to the scene and inveStigations are now being made by detectives. Offieers examined the gruesome dmeovery and formed th6 opinion that th.8 limbs were severed from the body two or three weeks ago. Evidently ^ the deed had been skilfully done with a very sharp instrument. No other part of the body has been found and no other identification so far has been possible. The case bears a strong resemblanc© to the shark-arm mystery in; Sydney in 1935. The woman is believed to have been between 20 and 40 years oi age.
