New Zealand porker pigs: Prices easier with trade slow. New Zealand baconer pigs: Market steady and unchanged. Bi-monthly Shipments. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia, South 'America and South Africa to the United Kingdom during the first half of March, 1937, were as follows: — " Australia: Carcases mutton, 43,935; earcases lamb, 48,184; quarters beef (frozen), 4,4S0; quarters beef (chiiled), 13,016. South \ America: Carcases mutton, 2,372; carcases lamb, 61,707; quarters beef (frozen), 250; quarters beef (chiiled), 216,238. South Africa (including Southern Ehodesia): Quarters beef (Chiiled). 4,257. New Zealand: Carcases mutton, 87,224; carcases lamb, 585,512; quarters beef (frozen), 3,552; quarters beeft (chiiled), 9.295.
