North Island Meeting at Napier Upwards of 200 spectators attended League Park this morning for the greyhound racing meeting held there under the auspices of the Northern Hawke's Bay Greyhound Racing Federation. In spite of the weather, this afternoon 's attendance was considerably in advance of this total, and some thrilling racing was seen. • Following are the results of the morning 's events: — Meeanee sprint (300 yards). — First heat: A. Austin's Eingmaster. Second heat: Mrs B. A. Taylor 's Lady Kyra 1, H. McDonald 's Desire 2. Third heat: D. Smith's Des Boy 1, Mrs T. Hill's Kammybean 2. Final: Lady Kyra 1, Desire 2, Kammybean 3. Waverley Scurry (300 yards). — First heat: P. Blair's Aconra (Waipukurau) I, Mrs T. M. Thomson 's Scotch Mist (Napier) 2. Second heat: T. M. Thomson 's Golden Cloud (Napier) 1, H. Ford's Smoke Below (Wanganui) 2. Final: Smoke Below 1, Scotch Mist 2, Golden Cloud 3. Marewa Stakes (440 yards). — Mrs U. Laking's Chancellor (Hastings) 1, Mrs F. Dunn's Onewhetu (Gisborne) 2, Mrs F. Hill's Golden Flight (Napier) 3.
