Crew Fol'ced To Leave (Received 27, 1.0 p.m.) BRISBANE, March 27. A massage received by the stib-collec-tor of Oustonis at Towns ville stated that the American freighter Fijian, in which an explosion bceurred, had sunk near Yaruto, a small island in the Marshall group. The crew of forty took to the. boats and were picked up by the Shinkb Mafu. An earlier message had stated that the fire on the Fijian had been checked and that the crfeW had returned to the ship.
