WELLINGTON, ThiS Day. The weather was fine but overcast for resumption of the M.0.0. v. New Zealand ericket mateh. Rain, whieh atarted at 11.10, postpdned the start of play ahd the boWletS' footholds were eovfered at 11.15 a.m. The wicket was inspected by Page and Allen and the covers were removed and stumps pitched at 12.15 p.m. Play started at 12.25 p.m. At 2 0'clock the score was 224 for eight wickets.
