Puketitiri Footballer Farewelled

PUKETITIRI, Last Night. The Puketitiri Football Club gathered together during the week-end to bid farewell to their very popular club eaptain, Mr. B. (Paddy) Twigg. Mr. N. Duley, who spoke on behalf of the club, referred to the willing manner in which Mr. Twigg had always worked for the club, and his untiring efforta in arraiiging all matches. Mr. Twigg was presented with a fountain pen, after which be, in a happy speech, thanked all members for the handsome gift, and alao for the splendid co-operation he had always rsceived. Cheers for Mr. Twigg concluded a pleasant function.
