The driver of the car and two boys who wero travelling with him suffered slight head injuries. On© of the boys, who also suffered from slight concussion, was afterwards removed to the Napier Hospital, The driver of the lorry and Mr Thomas Broughton, a passenger with him, both suffered cuts from broken glass. Th© car, which was struck on the side just behind the driver'© seat, was toppied over by/ the impact and was pfactically wrecked, Its occupants had a most fortunate escape" from more aerious injury.
