Hastings High School Assignment WORK AFTER EASTER Following is another assignment of home lessons for the pupils of the Hastings High School. This will provide work for the week following Easter, and further assignments will be issued if the closing of the school is prolonged after April 5: —
The following fourth assignment of exercises ie to be completed and brought to school on Monday, April 5. The previous assignment of work should be posted to the form teacher by Easter Monday. Postage on scripts m Jd for 2oz. if the envelope is open. Parents are asked to assist by seeing that lessons are done carefully and at reguiar tim.es, and that they- are puuctuaily despatched. Any pupils who have not yet completed the work set should note that arrears of work must be made up when school resumes, As it is diiiicult to eet sufficient hom« lessons for new pupils, they should devote extra time to reading, keeping a record of what they read, Drawing: All drawing pupils design and draw a monogram of their own initials, at least 3in. across. rOKM ITL English: Use those words ln eentences: Verbs: Skulk, flounce, smirk, prattle, potter, flinch, browse.
