H.B. Branch to Hold Drive for Membership A meeting of the executiive of the Hawke's Bay provincial executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held at Hastings yesterday _ afte'rnoon, the president, Mr C. R. Edgecombe, presiding cver a moderate attendance of members It was decided to hold a membership campaign for a short period during April. Each branch is to fee asked to arrange for a meeting to attract new members. In addition it was arranged to hav© two central gatherings at Waipukurau and Hastings, when special addresses will be delivered. It was decided to invite the Dominion president, Mr W. Mulhelland, to attend the annual provincial coiiference, to be held at Hastings on May 22.
