The social was well attended' and I think helped to advertise the work. Though not coming top we gained experience. • In August we entered another -team for the Collins Oup which is a New Zealand competition, which was a further experience for those who. attended. The First Aid class commenced in August and was well attended, Dr ifisher taking that class. Ten sat for this examination. An appeal was made through tbe Centre to collect warm garments for the Spanish war refugees, which was well contributed to, sending over QO garments. We have spent the money sent from tbe Joint Council in the right direction among returned soldiers in the Sanatorium and elsewhere. Before concluding I would like to thank the committee and members for their loyal help, also Mrs H.
