■■■ ■ ' 4 i ■' 1 ' Napier Easter Attraction The interest which has been shown is. the ' new Napier by various visitors from time to time makes it a very easy matter for any local organisation which produces the goods to get a foilowing, and tsuch is the case "vvith the Napier Motor Cyele Club, which is holding its annual race meeting on Easter Monday. Elders from all paxts o£ New Zealand, including gome of the best showmen ever seen on the grass track, are among the entries received. Seven nominations have been reeeived from Auckland, two from Christchurch, three from Gisborne, fonr from Palmerston North, two from Pahiatua, besides others from Foxton, Nelson, Te Aroha, Dannevirke, Hastings, Stratford, Eltham, Wanganui, Opotiki, Wellington, Waitara and Otahuhu, making a total of 40 xiders, with a f ew more to f ollow. It does not need much xmagination to realise the amount of work this meeting entails and to realise that to foster the sport of motor-cycle raeing means a goodly nnmber of local citizena giving their time in order that Napier is kept on the map at Easter time. If given a fine day many thousands of the local and visiting public will be able to see for themselves the representatives of the various towns of New Zealand vieing with each other for a division of the liberal prize-money figered at thiis meeting.
