Story of Frenchwoman Accused of Shooting REGULAR MEETINGS

(Eeceived 23 j 2.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 22. During the Magisterial examination of Mme. de la Fernere, who is acc-used of shooting the Oount de Chambrun at h railway station, she declared that she Saw Signor Mussolini regularly between April and July 6 of last year after which she was utiable to obtain a rOndezvous. She added that she told the Count de Chambrun in confidence about the nomance on July 6. When subsequdntly she was unahle to see Signor Mussolini she asked Signor Alfieri, Minister of Propaganda, if anyone was saying things about Eer. Signor Alfieri hinted that the Brench Embassy had isomething tO do with it. Mme. de la Ferriere, through frienda in the Italian police, was able, she said, to inspect her record, where she found that the attache of the French Embassy had told Signor Mussolini that she waa a member of the French Secret Service. She also told everyone that she was Signor Mussolini 's mistress. After the shooting Mme. de la Ferriere said that she had committed the assault because the Count had interfered ia her romance with a high foreign persoaage whom she refused to aarne.
