CLIPPER SHIP'S FLIGHT
-Press Association.)
Probable Arrival on Friday at Auckland
(By Telegraph-
AUCKLAND, Last night. Word was received in Auckland this afternoon that the Pan-American clipper ship cannot reach Auckland before Friday morning at the earliest as the 'plane's flight is for survey purposes only and time is not the main consideration. Nothing can be said with definiteness until the departure from Pago Pago on the final "hop." Harold Gatty stated to-day that flight instructions handed to Capt. Musick had ordered a minimum stay at Honolulu Of two days and a half. His duties included the testing of the radio direetion finding equipment between Honolulu and Kingman Reef. Mr. Harold Gatty tetates that the Pan-American clipper took off this morning on test flights at Honolulu and to try out the radio direetion finding apparatus operating between Honolulu and Kingman Reef.
