Napier and East Coast Ciub The Napier and East Coast Gun Ciub held a series of open matches on the ciub 'a grounds, , Monte Carlo, Marine Parade, Napier, on Saturday afternoon. Perfect weather conditions prevailed and an enjoyable afternoon resulted. Refreshments were provided by the ciub. The best scores in the various events were as under: — Six-bird eye-opener, — A. McGaffin and J. Mills axade the possible and divided the money. Twelve-bird op'en handicap. — B. Franklin ,(17), 12 breaksj T. Parker (18), 1 1; A. McGaffin (17), 11; J. Mills (18), 10; H. Howlett (18), 9; E. Groome (18), 9; F. D. Casey (17), 8; J. Macfarlane (11), 8; D. Campbell (18), 7; J. Holt (14), 7. Franklin took first money, Parker and McGaffin dividing second money. Twelve-bird open handicap. — T. Parker (18), 11; R. Symons (16), 11; E. Groome (18), 10; F. D. Casey (17), 9; A. McGaffin (17), 9; R. Angus (18), 9; D. Campbell (18), 9. Parker and Symons divided first and second money, E. Groome taking third prize. Ten-bird novelty shoot. — F. D. Casey was the winner and took first money, T. Parker, E. Groome, A. McGaffin and R. Symons dividing second and third money.
