CHARGE WITHDRAWN
Defendant in Hospital
Withdrawal of a charge of helpless drunkenness against Robert William Robson was allowed by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Napier Magistrate 's Court yesterday when it was explained that accused, who had been remanded in custody for one week, had been removed to the Napier Public Hospital. "He is now in a very serious condition," said Sergeant G. F. Bonisch, "and under the circumstances I would ask that the charge be withdrawn. ' '
