Auckland Escapee Returns for Friends ALL DANGEROUS

AUCKLAND, Last Nigh$. Making his escape from Avondale' Mental Hospital at about. midnight lasfcj night a Maori inmate who had beenj placed there after being charged with &| serious offence in the Supreme Court! returned not long afterward and helped| utwo other inmates, another Maori man| and a white woman, to escape, They; are all described as being dangerous and; so far have not been arrested. They! . were not discovered to be missing untilj the nurse on duty in their wing of the: hospital was making her rounds somei time afterward. No suspicious charac-j ters have yet been reported to thei poliee, and it is thought possible they have left Auckland. The home of the Maori who escaped first is stated to be in the Far North,
