Currency Prepared For Coronation NOVEL THREEPENNY PIECE (Received 22, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, March 21. The most sweeping changes in the history of Britain's coinage is announced in a Royal proclamation in the London Gfizette, including new designs for all coina j also two djstinct types of shilling, one bearing the Royal crest of Scotland as a compliment to the Queen and a new mixed-metal threepenny piece. They ar© the first additions to the coinage since 1887. The new currency is being minted imBiediately after Easter in time for the Coronation.
