KEEL-PLATE OF BATTLESHIP LAID. At Birkenhead, England, the keel-plate of a new battleship, "Prince of Wales," was laid in the presence of a great crowd. The battleship will be mounted with new types of guns and will have five inches or armour on her decks to resist the largest known air bombs. The cost is estimated at £7,000,000.
