PAHIATUA, Last Night. The Pahiatua Racing Club's annual meeting opened to.day in fine weather. There was a very big attendance and the racing was good, there being a numher of close finish.es. The course was in good order and- the anachine handled £8920 -10/- as compared with £6200 on the first day, last year, the increase being £2720 10/-. .
