Gopson, Worthington, and Barnetf are members of the Marylebone Cricket Club team which toured Australia. Worthington and Barnett played in the tests, but Copson, a fast bowler, was not included, However, he took 20 first-class wickets in other first-class matches on the tour. Gover, a Surrey professional, Is also a fast or medium-fast bowler. He took 100 wickets in county champiohship matches last"season, and was consldered unlucky to miss selection for the Australian visit, m one match, agamst .Worcestershire, M took four wickets with successive deliveries.
