CLAUDETTE COLBERT TO STAR IN "TOVARICH"
Warner Bros. screen picturisation of one of the hit plays of the current New York season "Tovarich" by Jacques Deval, will have Claudette Colbert in the leading feminine role. Miss Colbert read the script of the play and was enthusiastic about the possibilities of the "film comedy-drama, which ;s expected to go into production at the Warner studios in Burbank, California. Miss Colbert will play the role created "by Marta Abba, famous Italian actress, on the New York stage and by Leontovich in London. A stellar cast is now being assembled for the new pieture.
