N.Z. AIRMAN MARRIED AT CHELSEA OLD CHURCH
Chichester — Craven At Chelsea Old Church, on February 25, the marriage took place of Charles, son of the Bev. Charles Chichester and Mrs. Chichester, Morven, Exton, Devon, to Sheila Mary, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Craven, of Belle Eau Park, Nottinghamshire, and Coln, St. Aldwyns, Gloucestershire, states an overseas correspondent. The ceremony was performed by the bridegroom's father, assisted by the Eev. Frederiek Copleston and the Bev. B. E. Sadleir. The bride, who was given away by Sir Sidney Barton, wore a beautiful gown of ivory slipper satin, made with a short train." Her tulle veil was held in place by a cluster of camellias,' and her bouquet was of the same flowers. Her ornaments were an.aquamarine and diamond bracelet and clip. The two pages were godsons of the bride, Bobin Baker-White and Clive Foster. Mr. Marcus Chichester was best man and the groomsmen were Mr. David MaeEwen and Mr. George Bitchie. Following the ceremony, a reception was held by Mrs. Thomas Craven (stepgrandmother), at 8, Kensington Court. Among the guests invited were: — Squadron-Leader and Mrs, Patrick Chichester, Surgeon-Commander and Mrs. Quinn, Miss Elspeth Barton, Miss Cecilia Pharazyn, Sir Charles and Lady Craven, Lady Ann Craven, the lilarquis and Marchioness of Ely, Sir Eric Mievelie, Sxr Sidney and Lady Barton, the Hon. Mrs. Alfred Lyttleton, Countess of Clonmell, Lady Craik, Mrs. G. Thompson, Sir Edward and Lady Chichester, Wing-Commander and Mrs. Grant-Dal-ton, Sir Stephen Eenshaw, Lady Sheila Durlacher, the Eev. Hugh Nelson-Ward, Major and Mrs. de-Haviland, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Chichester, Captain Christopher Tancred, the Misses Bryan, Mr. and Mrs. F. Burgess, the Misses Beckwith, Captain and Mrs. Michael Slade, Mr. and Miss Page. The honeymoon is being spent at Newbiggin Hall, Cumberland, lent by Mr. Dayrell Crackanthorpe. The bride travelled in a crepe dress of dark brown with halo hat, and a dark brown tweed coat trimmed with revers of lynx fur. The bride and bridegroom left for New Zealand by the Eangitane sailing. on March
