Struck by Car in Early Morning As the result of an aceident near the Taradale dance hall shortly after 12,30 o'clock this morning, Mr. William Maka, a freezing worker of Whakatu, was admitted to the Napier Hospital •qfPering from an injured foot and leg. Mr. Maha was walking along the main Taradale-Meeanee road when he was struck by a car driven by Mr. Ffank Macovini, of Hastings, one of the wh.eels of the car passing over one of Mr. Maha's legs.
