She has not decided whethfer to depart to-day or to-morrow for Howland Island. Except to say that the trip was uneventful Mrs. Putnam withheld comment because of story contracts. She is accompanied by three men. Oue is leaving her here, oue at Howland and one at Darwin, whence she will continue alone. A coastguard at Honolulu infrjrceptee a massage at 3 a.m., when the plane was 805 miles from Honolulu, saying it had already passed both the coinmerciaJ planes.
