The wool sale at Wanganui on March 1 xesulted in a gross realisation of £590,086 5/2, bringing the prOGeeds oi the two saies (his season to £1,328,743 1/9, as against the tatai realisation oi £776,285 15/6 for the eorresponding ■saies last year. A third sale is to be held on- April 12. The figures in respeet of the sale held on March 1 are as follows: — Offpred, 27,568 bales; sold, 27,479 balesj propeeds, £599,086 5/2; average per bale. £21 16/-; average per lb.. 14.582d.
