ROOSEVELT'S SCHEME Indirect Reply Made By Judge WASHINGTON, March 17. Although he did not mention Mr Roosevelt's proposals, Justice McEeynolds, of the Supreme Court, addressing a small audience at a fraternity banquet, deplored the complaints of losers in Court. actions, and said that evidence of good sportsmanship would be acceptance of the outcome of a l'air tribunal. Thousands and thousands of things eame before the Court and were settled to general, satisf action. "I would like to believe in tho courage of the Ame'rican people, and hope that they will make a solution of which we may be proud, he said." Justice McReynolds is the iirst member of the Court to express his views on the relationship with the Government since Mr Roosevelt advanced his projposals.
