REMINDER
The early hird does not always catch the early worm, nor does the early sportsman always get the biggest bag of ducks, "but the early starter gets to the Puketapu Sports first and misses none of the sport. But there is plenty of good sport in great variety on .the programme, so that even the latecomers will have a feast of gocd thmgs to ■ entertarn them. There will be a band in attendance and reireshments will be obtainable on the ground. And . the sports ball tn the evening will forin a fitting wind-up, and is something which should not be missed. Music, supper, fioor, etc.. will all be o'f the best. Conveyances will run from Napier and Hastings. In connection with the H.B. Chil dreu's Home annuai appeal in Hastings on Saturday, the sliop will be beid in a marquee on the vacant sectlon aext the Bank of New South Wales. Patents are advised that the Pfunket Society's rooms at the showgrounds will not be open to-morrow owing to the outbreak of paralysis in Hastings and district. Owing to the xestrictions imposed hy the authorities, the tea arranged for the scliolars of the Baptist Sunday School will not be held on Thursday, A future date will be fixed as soon as , xestrictions are lifted.
