PEARLERS ALL SAFE

Warned by Japanese of Cyclone's Approach RUSHED "TO" SHELTER (Received 17, 8.45 a.m.) DAEWIN, March 16.. Pearling luggers, ,for 'which grave fears were felt after the cyclone last week, are all safe. This news was brought to Darwin by the lugger Redhill, the head diver of which stated that the luggers were working north of Goulburn Island, accompanied by an overSbas Japanese lugger, when the gales arose. An overseas lugger from Falao, which carried wireless, heard forecaats from Dobo in the Aru Islands^ predicting the approach of a cyclone, and warned others. They raced for the shelter of the mainland, eighty miles away.
