Unoccupied House Damaged MYSTERI0US 0UTBREAK Three rooms were extensively damaged when fire broke out at the. rear of a six-roomed house at 410 Greys road, Hastings, at one o'cloek this morning. The house, which was owned by Mr Murtagh, was unoccupied, and it is not known what cau&ed the outbreak. The house was vacated last week, and had been empty for several days About one o'clock the flames were nc ticed by a neighbouring resident, wh at once gave the alarm. The Hasting Brigade was quickly on the scene en found the fire had gained a firm hold It was not nntil three rooms at thi Tear of the house had been practicall; burnt out that the fire was got undei control, two leads being played on the fire.
