RIFLE SHOOTING
Npaier Defence Club The Napier Defence Rifle dub commenced the fourth series for the club 3hampionship on, Saturday. Conditions were ideal, and there was some high shooting. Ranges ' were 30O, 500 and 300 yards, 7 shots at each, standards 33, 34, and 33. H. C. Russell, with a score of 103 off the rifle, established 1 new record for the range. Good 3cores were^ also registered by Riflemen Hyde and Haraldsen, with 100 each. Possibles were registered by Riflemen Holt at 300 yards and by Riflemen Liussell and James at 500 yards Detaals are as under.
