The Welshman Tommy Farr outpointed the title-holder Ben Foord (South Africa) at the Harringay Sta- • dium for the Empire and British heavy- ' weight boxing championship. Farr will thus meet Max Baer ' Ainerica) on April 15. Joe Louis is repurted to be coming to England in Jftlv ! to meet the winner of the present heavyweight series. Foord won the British and Empire titles last year when he beat Jack Petersen.
